Well, Brussels is rarely found on travel itineraries beyond a quick stopover to somewhere else. Let’s change that: I’ll give you a personal tour of the city I worked in for 24 years, covering a lot of ground from the Belgian monarchy, the Baroque city centre, some palaces, the European Quarter and – of course – Victor Horta and his influence on Art Nouveau in Europe.
