Little known fact: before the first European arrived in the New World, some Native Americans lived in enormous cities like Tenochtitlan, Chaco Canyon and Cahokia. Most of us will have grown up with an image of Native Americans living in teepees, riding around on horses and generally living in small groups. While that is true for some, others lived in cities, so let’s take a good look at their metropolises.
