Skill Level - Beginner

 Previously you experimented with transparency, learning the techniques for how to make those washes. This time Steve is going to show you how to use this technique to create form and give your piece structure.

You can either sit back and watch the demonstration or paint-along. If you do intend to paint-along, please ensure you have all of your materials ready to go.

• Selection of soft brushes
• Watercolours, tubes or pans
• Jam Jar
• Watercolour paper – or thick cartridge
• 2H pencil
• Palette or ceramic plate
