Mixing the three primary colours of red, blue and yellow to make new colours is a lesson we usually enjoy in first school, and it’s often one we haven’t forgotten! Working with the basic examples of red and yellow to make orange, and blue and yellow to make green, opens up a world of secondary and tertiary colours and tonal differences of shades adding to our colour knowledge. This can then be built up to a whole spectrum of shades and that’s what this class with Liz starts to look at.
