Skill Level - Absolute Beginners

Welcome to Felicity’s Crochet for Beginners!
In this four-part course Felicity will show you how to crochet and all the basic skills you will need to produce granny squares. Each week will need to be booked individually.

  • Week one - You will learn to hold the hook and the Chain Stitch.
  • Week two - You will learn the main stitch – The Treble.
  • Week three - You will establish the granny square pattern.
  • Week four - You will hone your skills and consider using one colour to make a square.
  • In each session there will be plenty of time to ask questions and right and left-handed learners are welcome!

 

You can either sit back and watch the demonstration or crochet-along. If you do intend to craft along, please ensure you have all of your crochet essentials ready to go.

Tools and Materials

All you need is:

• 5mm hook

• 2 colours of DK yarn

• A large eyed needle

• Scissors
