This decorative technique is usually seen along side Cathedral window patchwork, often in cushions or hangings but it also makes a delightful little pin cushion and is simple to make by hand, although you must be accurate with your cutting and folding.
This course has been designed as a demonstration with Q&A so please have a pen handy to write down any helpful notes so that you can make it in your own time.
1 square of fabric – cotton works best, cut on the straight grain approx 6¾” square
1 square of the same fabric approx 3¾” square
Piece of lightweight iron vilene 2¾” square
Piece of contrast fabric just under 3” square ironed onto bondaweb
Piece of freezer paper 3” square
Toy stuffing or cut up oddments of wadding
