Give the gift that lasts beyond Christmas,
the Gift of Learning!

Christmas is a time of joy and connection, but for many, it can also magnify feelings of loneliness, overwhelm, or disconnection. Loneliness and social isolation are year-round problems but winter – and Christmas especially – can be particularly tough. With 1 million older people* feeling more isolated at Christmas than any other time of the year, the need for supportive, uplifting spaces has never been greater. At the Denman Trust, we’re committed to helping change that, and we hope you’ll join us.

This year, we’re inviting you to give the Gift of Learning.

Your support helps us keep the WI Learning Hub active and accessible throughout the festive season. It’s more than an online platform, it’s a welcoming community where people can learn something new, rediscover purpose, and find moments of inspiration when they need them most.  Whether it’s someone spending Christmas alone, seeking a pause from the festive rush, or using the season to reflect and grow, your Gift of Learning ensures they’re never without a place to belong.

Every donation directly supports the WI Learning Hub; from the technology that keeps us connected to the Hosts and resources that bring learning to life. Together, we can make sure that creativity, connection, and the joy of learning stay open to everyone this Christmas.

The aim of this campaign is to raise funds to help the Denman Trust to continue providing access to quality online learning opportunities on the WI Learning Hub throughout the Christmas and New Year period. Whilst Christmas can be a time of joy for many, the season can also bring feelings of isolation, overwhelm, or a need for meaningful focus. However, maintaining and running the Learning Hub over this period comes with ongoing costs. This campaign allows us to sustain those operations and keep learning available for everyone who needs it.

Thank You
