Available spaces: 249
Host: Simon Gregor
The last time Simon gave an update on the political situation in the United States, the election results were just in, and Americans of all political persuasions were taking stock of what this might mean for the future. By mid-February, we will be one month into the presidency of Donald Trump, and this talk will take stock of key developments both in the "handover period" from November to January, and the opening weeks of the new administration. Simon will also try to draw some tentative conclusions about what this might suggest about the shape of US policy over the next year or two, until the mid-term elections in 2026.
