Please note, this session has been recorded from a live course and is available to watch flexibly in your own time up to 11:59pm on 4th March.
Islam discouraged the use of imagery in decoration for the most part, and Arabic calligraphy started to fill that void by serving a multitude of decorative purposes. This talk highlights the story of calligraphy in the Arabic script and what it is able to achieve when released from the surface of parchment.
Zoom recording link to view this session will be included at the bottom of your confirmation email after you have registered.
