Skill Level - Beginner

In this beginner-friendly course, Steve will guide you through creating bold, colourful portraits inspired by the modern masters Matisse and Derain. Working with acrylics, you’ll explore the vibrant, expressive techniques of Fauvism, focusing on simplified forms, strong colours, and creative freedom. This gently paced session is perfect for anyone curious about modern portraiture and eager to experiment with dynamic colour palettes and brushwork. No experience necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to play with paint!

You can either sit back and watch the demonstration or craft-along. If you do intend to craft-along, please ensure you have all of your materials ready to go.

Instructions and Zoom log in details will be included at the bottom of your confirmation email after you have registered.

(If you do not receive a confirmation email please check your spam/junk email boxes or sign into  the 'Your Account' section of the Learning Hub website to retrieve all of your booking and course information)
