Join the Red Roses Yarn Art project to celebrate the Women’s Rugby World Cup. Inspired by the Red Roses' love of crochet as a team-bonding activity, England Rugby are calling on the nation to take part in a Yarn Art Installation project, designed to inspire the next generation of female players and deliver a legacy for the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025.

Follow along with Felicity for these live crochet classes as she demonstrates how to make the official 'Red Roses - England Rugby' Rose pattern in support of the England Women's National Rugby Union Team!

Part 1 - Thursday 3rd July 2025 6pm-7pm (Petals) - We’ve scheduled a short break between Parts 1 & 2 to give you time to crochet enough petals before moving on to the next stage the following week.

Part 2 - Wednesday 9th July 2025 6pm-7pm (Leaves)

Part 3 - Thursday 10th July 2025 6pm-7pm (Assembly)

Have you never crocheted before or feel like your skills are a little rusty? Don't worry, we've attached a PDF to your confirmation email that includes video links to skill builder videos created by Felicity.

These sessions will be recorded so you can watch them back at your convenience. Recordings will be available under our Recorded Courses section.

Part 1 will be uploaded within 48 hours of the live session taking place, allowing you to catch up before Parts 2 and 3.

After the live sessions for Parts 2 and 3 have taken place, all three sessions will be available to book and view together, also within 48 hours of the final session taking place.

Patterns & further information about this project, along with your Zoom log in details will be included at the bottom of your confirmation email after you have registered.

(If you do not receive a confirmation email please check your spam/junk email boxes or sign into  the 'Your Account' section of the Learning Hub website to retrieve all of your booking and course information)

This course is being offered completely free of charge in celebration of the Yarn Art Project and in support of the Red Roses. While there’s no fee to join, delivering the course does come at a cost our end, so if you’re able, a small donation would be greatly appreciated to help us continue offering accessible learning opportunities for all.
