Skill Level - Beginner

Join Steve for a gently paced, beginner-friendly exploration of floral painting inspired by the bold and expressive style of Emil Nolde. In this relaxing course, you’ll learn how to use watercolours to create vibrant, emotive flower compositions, focusing on colour, looseness, and atmosphere rather than fine detail. Steve will guide you step-by-step, helping you tap into Nolde’s unique approach while encouraging your own creative expression. Perfect for those looking to develop confidence with watercolours in a calm and supportive environment.

You can either sit back and watch the demonstration or craft-along. If you do intend to craft-along, please ensure you have all of your materials ready to go.

Instructions and Zoom log in details will be included at the bottom of your confirmation email after you have registered.

(If you do not receive a confirmation email please check your spam/junk email boxes or sign into  the 'Your Account' section of the Learning Hub website to retrieve all of your booking and course information)

Please note, this session will be recorded and available to view after the session within 48 hours of it taking place. You will be able to locate it under our Access Anytime courses list and you will be able to watch it flexibly in your own time for the subsequent 7 days.
