Available spaces: 244
Host: Dan Cooper
Join the WI Learning Hub Virtual Choir, a unique and energising experience led by renowned vocal coach Dan Cooper and powered by singing platform Biiah! In this fun and lively session, you’ll sing along to upbeat pop and rock hits that are sure to get you moving and feeling great.
Whether you're a seasoned singer or a total beginner, this choir is all about building community and lifting your spirits through the joy of music. While each session will leave you feeling uplifted, the programme is designed to help you track how singing positively impacts your well-being over time.
This is a perfect opportunity to connect with fellow WI members virtually, have fun, and enjoy the incredible health benefits that come with making music together. All you need to participate is your voice and the willingness to let go and have fun! (although all singing will be done on mute!)
You don’t need to worry about preparing song sheets in advance as what you'll be singing will be revealed at the beginning of the session, so you can just turn up and enjoy yourself! While it’s not essential, you can enhance your experience by signing up for Biiah, your virtual choir companion app, either before or after the session. The app provides access to the music you'll be learning and helps you track the positive impact of these sessions on your mental, physical, and social well-being throughout the series. Information to download the app will be included in your confirmation email.
Zoom log in details will be included at the bottom of your confirmation email after you have registered.
(If you do not receive a confirmation email please check your spam/junk email boxes or sign into the 'Your Account' section of the Learning Hub website to retrieve all of your booking and course information)
Please note, this session will not be recorded.
