Available spaces: 242
Host: Simon Gregor
The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is largely unspoiled wilderness, a land of forests and lakes, where you can walk for hours and not see another living soul. Affectionately known as the UP, and its residents as “Yoopers”, it is very different from the built-up metropolis of Detroit, Ann Arbor or Lansing in the southern part of Michigan. In this talk, Simon will share some photos and stories from his recent road-trip around this lesser known but beautiful area of the US.
