Claire has over 25 years’ experience teaching in universities and colleges, and has been delivering on-line sewing classes for Denman at Home as part of the regular tutor team since 2020.

As an active WI member from Gloucestershire Federation, she enjoys taking her workshops, demonstrations and talks to groups around the county and further afield, and serves on Gloucestershire Federation’s Crafts committee, as well as being a keen member of ‘Stitch Cotswold’ (formerly The Embroiderer’s Guild).

Claire loves all things fabric, and specialises in machine sewing, encouraging participants to develop their skills and build their confidence through a range of practical and creative projects. When Claire is not out and about teaching workshops, she is busy designing new projects and making bespoke gifts. Her work has featured in ‘WI Life’, ‘Crafts Beautiful’ and ‘Cotswold Life’.
